I was just curious if there is anyway to get the windows on the back doors to roll all the way down. ...Prefereably without having to tear open the door or something. Ill take any solutions, cause i hate that half way down crap! oh yeah, i have a 96 D1 with power windows...didnt know if that helps or not! adam |

Adam, Sorry to say, but I don't believe there is enough space in the door itself for the window to go all the way down. The curved wheel cutout kinda ruins any chance of that. Maybe in that ugly looking Disco Series III thing-a-ma-jiggy. Looks like it might have the room. Big Ed |

Take a rock...throw it through closed window...if you're good enough you can get both with one throw. No tools, no muss. |

uh, if you look at the door, there is no room for the window to go down unless it's through the wheel well. it's not for child safety.

The child safety feature is the e-window lock button. That keeps the monkeys from messing around with the buttons. BAD MONKEY... SandMan

Danno, I call "Bull Shit" to Land Rover on this... I chopped up 11cm from my rear door to reach the glass wen it was down to fit my rear flares...they should have figured a way to make them go ALL the way down... Dont remember 4 door classic RRs now (seems all the people I hang out with now have 2 door ones and are pretty chopped up)...but did their rears go down? |
