I need to replace the steering stabalizer and was wondering if I should get a stock replace ment fromt he parts store or go with a upgraded aftermarket. Any suggestions or models?

Thanks
Dave

Dave,
It depends on what you are using your truck for. The Stock Stabilizer is fine for a daily driver with limited or light off road use. Many get 100k on em and keep on going. You can pick an OEM replacement up for around 30.00

For 50.00 or more aftermarket heavier duty steering stabilizers are available from Old Man Emu, Bilstein and Rancho. I have one truck with the Bilstein and another with the OME. Cant really tell a difference or make a decision on which one is better.
