Just traded my 2000 SD for a 2004 SE!! What a difference in acceleration with the 4.6 Liter, it's amazing how quickly the truck passes the 70 MPH mark on the way into the office, I will surely get a ticket if I'm not careful. Overall the truck seems to ride much nicer on the road than the 2000, but I miss the look/function of my Goodyear MTR's. I will say the carpeting seems much cheaper in quality, seams under the rear seats are very rough, whereas in the 2000, they seemed 'finished' on the edges. Its a shame they took out the weatherband on the radio, it was just another one of those things that make a LR a LR and not a exploder. I am having a problem finding crossbar mounts for my Yakima stuff. Yakima does not offer crossbar mounts for the 04's yet. Has anyone tried the Nissan xterra mounts? |
