Inspired by Bud's mall crawler, I thought I'd post this pic of my slinky rig while flexing at my favorite parking lot trail...

Sweet. Glenn, You need to bring a photographer next time. That way you can capture the "moment" with your head hangin out the window. |

Glenn, to get that much flex, are you using cones or retainers in the rear? |

Are your stabilizers disconnected? :-) The roof rack definetly overextended your springs! |

Well , am I the only one to notice that Glenn here has upped the ante by including two extreeeeme obstacles (The tree and the pole)? Kyle |

Next time you do the same obstacle, take a limb riser! You don't want any of your trail recovery stuff getting caught in those low slung branches ;-) |

lol I can't pick out the culprit for my enormous flex in the springs. At first I thought it was due to the roofrack and my poseur Jerry can, but I thought about it hard and realized it's probably the firestick that I recently installed. Greg, I haven't resorted to those yet, as you can tell on the pic I already have plenty of flex. Paul, I'll remember that next time! lol -glenn |

Kidding aside, this was taken after driving all night from the Fiddleheads in Maine. This was on our way back and was taken at a McDonald's rest stop at 6:00 in the morning. The group kinda suggested the idea just for shits and giggles! Fiddleheads, BTW, was not much to talk about although the trails that we did on our own and the scenery is a different story. Not to mention the food! Lot's of Lobsta and dining by the haba (read as lobster and harbour). -glenn |

You guys talk about flex and stuff (pun intended) but did anyone notice how the Disco body is leaning to one side? I'd have a dealer look at that, especially with pictures for documentation. |

John, my friend, go easy on that dremmel man! Ron, I think it's time to take out a can of rustoleum white and start sprayin! (lol) Kyle - "upped the ante"...LMAO Chu - I definitely agree with your statement! I hope this picture inspired some of you Disco owners who've never taken their ride this extreme yet. Go out there! Explore those mall parking lots! Don't be afraid. Your 60K Rover can handle it! And to the guys that have come before me, thanks! - this is the result of the inspiration you provided to me. LMAO! -glenn |

Notice the adjacent terrain is empty of other vehicles. He must have busted-in on a "closed trail". Risky! |

Naw Bill, that bus from the Suburu outback commercial with Crocadile Dundee is parked in the background waiting its turn to make the climb...notice the distance the 4x4bus needs to get up the speed just to make such a steep climb...talk about keeping your distance--- |

Guess I missed Ho's Disco in the background. Maybe Glenn got a lift from one of those army helicoptors that airlifts tanks and stuff behind enemy lines. Cool! |
