I have an 04 G4 with the standard radio (same as in S series I believe). Anyway, I was cycling through the menu function and noticed what appeared to be a CLOCK and DATE function. The clock read "--:--" and the date one "--/--/--" Are these indeed a clock and date setting? If so, how can I actually set them. There is no mention in the crappy book LR provided. Thanks. |

The clock/date works with the RDS (Radio Data System). The time and date are not user adjustable as they are downloaded through RDS. Not all FM stations broadcast RDS. Turn on the RDS then cycle through. Date/time will appear when RDS station received. Great radio for in-dash CD. I picked one up for my 03 S to retain stock look and steering controls.. |
