Has anyone had to replace the rubber around the outside of the rear windows and rear door window? Mine are very cracked and split and I think water is probably getting in behind them. Does someone know where to get replacements and how difficult is it to DIY? Thanks in advance Kevin Hans 96 5spd |

i also need some light shed on this situation. A buddy of mine noticed it the other day. Can't say i've noticed any water getting in but i'd like to fix the problem before it starts as the seal is clearly deteriorating rapidly. Cheers Jack |

Yep, there are two options: 1)replace the seals. Order the seals and get any window/glass shop to put them on. 2) On the back of my Disco, the seal cracked in the corners and i actually put a piece of electric tape over the crack. funny really because the tape has been on there for two years now and no one has even noticed its there.I cant believe it stayed that long. beats paying $100 for new seals. BTW, i've replace the other seals already. |
