Plan on getting one, but I am new to hardcore off roading and know nothing about winches. I searched but didn't find an answer to my question. Is a 9000# winch adeqaute and if so which brand/model would you reccomend for the Rover Solutions front bumper. Also, if you have a front bumper from Rover Solutions, how much did you pay for it.

9000# is what you want. As for brand, I am sure everybody at this site has an opinion. Ramsey, Warn, it is kind of like Goodyear or Firestone.

best way to get your answers is just to contact Kyle and ask him. His bumper is set-up for the Ramsey RE though (either 10 or 12). If he does make a bumper for you, i don't think he'll make it to accomodate a smoker. But ask him yourself.

the rover solution bumper retails for $499, and delivery is running 3 weeks.

kyle will build it for any winch you wish.

email him for details.
