Greetings all, Has anyone reset the service engine light on a 98 LE? I have searched the archives and I see someone who gave detailed instructions on how this is done, but it was for a different year...96 I think. I removed the kick panel on the passenger side and I didn't see anything that I could remove and reset. Am I looking in the wrong place? Any help would be appreciated. |

Antonio, www.discoweb.org/reset/index.htm On top is the proceedure for '97 and up. It worked for me with no problems. Finding and removal is just like on a '96. Just a different way to reset. I didn't take the cover off as illustrated. I just poked a paper clip through the hole and touched the contacts. Even managed not to upset Lucas. Cheers, Brian |
