I recently bought a 96 Disco and I noticed that when the lights are on the main front blinker/parking lights do not come on like they do on most cars...also the little tiny yellow lights on the sides stay off as well. Are they supposed to be on or not? THANKS!! |

Normal! I have a 98 Disco and the yellow lights you are referring to do not come on when you turn on the headlight switch; but they do blink (that and the side yellow lights) when you turn on the turn signal. |

Adam Your small yellow lights have bulbs that are easily accesible, pull bulb holder out and replace lights they should come on when you turn on your dash lights!!!! The rear side red bumper lights should also be on!!!! I had to replace all four of mine not too long ago. |

I like Rian's idea better. Before you go tearing into the light-housings check your manual. My yellow front, rear and side lights only come on when using the directional signals or emergency flashers. They do not come on with the parking/dash lights (my dimmed headlights and red rears do). Different models in different parts of the world my friends. DiscoWeb has an international following and each individual Disco was designed to meet the road requirements of where it was destined to be driven. If in doubt, check the operators manual! SandMan |
