I have a Disco II which my wife drives during the week. She is about 5 '9 & complains, she cannot find a comfortable seat position. The Disco has power seats and with all the choices, finds it still very uncomfortable. Also, she complains of her inner groin becomes sore. My question is this, can you let me know how you position your seat. How far back, how much incline on the back support, raise or position the seat bottom all the way down.

Thanks,

Well, I'm 5'8" with a 32" inseam, and I position my seat lowered all the way, with the seat about 3/4 - 2/3 of the way back, with no fore-aft tilt to the seat.

I'm 6'2", with 34-inch inseam. I'm almost all the way back, with the bak all the way up and the front about 3/4 of the way up (slight tilt forward). I also lean back a little.

My wife is 5'7" and leaves the seat in the same position, only closer.

I'm 6'1", 32" inseam.... I put the back of the seat all the way down, the front edge of the seat about half-way up, kept the back mostly upright, and the entire seat positioned about 3/4 of the way back...

Good luck!

I'm 6'2" and have experimented with all different seating positions ('97 DI w/ power seats). I've settled on the seat all the way back, front fully elevated, rear all the way down, and the seatback pretty much straight up or slightly reclined. I was having trouble with leg cramps with the seat moved toward the steering wheel. Now it's really comfortable.

I would be more concerned with what she was doing in between trips that got her "groin" area sore, than the seat position.

I have the same problem. I have not found a good location in about a yr. Also the inner part of my leg becomes sore.

Don't feel bad. A coworker has problems with her truck. I was told today that she blew a trannie. My mind was below the septic tank in 0.0001 seconds. The guy who told me had never thought of anything else but the transmission. I am a dirty old dog. And, I am NOT sorry.
