So I test drove a rover yesterday.

I'm 6'3 185 and I couldn't get comfortable. I felt super high in the rover and the seat cushion felt super low. Maybe I didn't play with the seats enough?

Thanks

Justin

You should try a Boxster man - now there's a comfortable ride.
Crappy Rovers, not sure why anyone owns one...

I'm 6'4 220 and couldnt get comfortable when i test drove an '00 disco. after playing with the seat for a while i found a decent position and got used to it. I hit the change tray with my knee every now and then but its not a big deal. theres a place that can extend the seat rails. i dontknow where though but you can probably find the thread in the archives.

Maybe you could have your knees removed. That should help you lose some of the extra height.

When you are over 6', you have to want to be comfortable in a Rover to get comfortable.

You like it enough and you will make it work.

I am 6' 6" and have had a 90 RRC, 98 RR, and 95 Disco.
The Disco I is by far the most comfortable especially if you use this method to gain more leg room.

Did you flip the rails on the 98 RR as well?

I'm 6'7" 220 and have an 03 Discovery, I seem to fit just fine but 1/2 an inch taller I would be out of luck.

Leigh - I have not flipped the rails on the 98 RR...proably won't since that's my wifes ride and she's 5' 3"

Matt - did they chage something in the 03's because I can't fit in the Disco II's?

Sat in a DII today and had time to mess with the Seats. I was able to find a comfortable position, my new question are the seats in a D1 able to go down as much as a D2?
