Has LR addressed the growing popularity of mp3s and radio inputs-i.e. connections for Ipods or other in the 2003-4 discos? Are the ujoints serviceable? Thanks

Not in my 2004 S. In fact, they have made it more difficdult as there is not a tape player to use a tape adapter through. Lance |

I removed the factory CD changer from my 04 SE and replaced it with the equivalent Alpine changer and Blitzsafe adapter which I removed from my 2000 SD. The Blitzsafe has RCA inputs so I can run my IPod, but you cannot run the original LR changer with it. Call Blitzsafe and ask if they are planning on offering an adapter with RCA inputs that is designed to work with the LR changer. Otherwise you must use an FM transmitter or tape adapter. |
