When swapping ECU's do to an engine swap, is there any resetting needed or just plug in and drive off? |

The 14cux ecu used through 1995 can be swapped and used. A 1996-1999 GEMS ECU will have to be programmed by the LR specialist computer before the truck will start. A Bosch ECU is coded to the vehicle with the specialist tools and is not readily swappable at all. |

By the label color I would guess that is a 94-95. 14cux could be the 4.2 but 4.6, Was it rechipped?? |

It was reprogrammed. 3.9 14CUX with the new mapping. |
