I've noticed my exhaust more than usual while stopped at stop lights lately, by that I mean I can see darker exhaust. On my latest oil change I did switch over to synthetic Chevron oil. Is there anything I can check or should check, like plugs, trying higher octane gas(currently use 89 octane), exhaust gaskets? Thanks in advance. oh yeah, 97 Disco, 110,000 miles. |

When was your last O2 sensor change? When they go bad they will make the engine run rich, causing your exhaust to be darker. |
