The illumination for my clock and heater controls don't work in my 95 d1. The controls and clock work fine just no light. Is there a separate fuse for these (all other dash lights work) or do they have those little bulbs on the back side of the control panel like the Germans use? Any ideas or suggestion would be great. Cheers Andy |

For the clock you will need to order a new light. Atlantic British- $5.95 Rovers North- $6.00 Once you get the clock out it is a real easy change. Getting the clock out was the hard part for me. |

A land rover mechanic showed me how to get the clock out. Just go between the crack and pry it with a paint scraper. Comes right out |

Thanks for the help with the clock light. I'll get that as soon as I'm done with the front brakes. What about the heat control lights. I thought they were illuminated? any suggestions there. |

On the heat control lights there is a bulb that goes right in the middle of the unit. You have to pull the controll knobs and the fan knob out they all come out with little force, then pull out each phillips screws on both sided. Once you've done that the AC display unit slides off allowing access to the small bulb. I've tried to find this type of bulb at regular places with no luck, had to get one from DAP-Inc $5.00 I think you can also try the dealer. |
