The owners manual describes the fuses for the cigarette lighter as being under the passenger seat. I have yet to be able to find them. I know the owners manual sometimes gets the Euro models mixed up with the NA models so any help would be appreciated because my GPS is eating batteries. Thanks, Lee |

Lee, I think mine said the same thing. Then I looked at the shop manual and according to it, both the front and rear cigar lighters use the main fuse box, #17. And lo and behold, the picture on the fuse cover has a cigar for that spot. I pulled it out and sure enough it was blown. Swapped with the hazard fuse to test (it's a 20amp fuse and the only other ones in that box are for the cooling fan), turned the ignition on and all better. Bottom row, fourth from the right. BTW, mines' an 89 but the manual electrical diagram said any classic after 86 had the same routing. Shop manuals good....owner's manual bad.... pwc |
