Bleazard (Injun) New Member Username: Injun Post Number: 30 Registered: 12-2003 Posted on Sunday, February 29, 2004 - 05:13 pm:    After 2 months of this Disco, I finally have the beloved Check Engine light come on in the Amber variety. It happened after wheeling today and for some reason when unlocking the CDL, I didnt get the shifter all the way over and when I put it in Drive I got this awful clunk and a alarm noise that was letting me know the transfer case was in Neutral. I put back in neutral and tried it again with no problem. Car is running fine with no problems at all. It appears that the OBD readers for laptops from OBD2.com are the best and well worth the money for Disco owners. Which one do I need and what accessories do I need. Is it the Euro or Ford or what. It's designed for adverse conditions, and will work on any OBD2 vehicle. It comes with everything you need. I might try that one. What do you think of this OBD reader and it's associated functions? Sure it's a small screen (PDA) but seems really slick and very functional.
