Need some help here. About one month ago i noticed my coolant level was low. i filled it to the cold mark and then it goes back down about 2" below and stays. I have to refill about once a week now. So I search for the leak and behind the oil pan, coming from above the transmission somewhere I see coolant fluid coming down. Any idea where this could be coming from? The engine smells like burnt coolant after a drive. Of course i am at 54K now with no warranty. Already had the radiator replaced. |

Probably a loose hose clamp somewhere. Do you see any pooling on the back of the valley pan indicating something is dripping on it? Check the little hoses that go to the intake manifold too. |

looks like a problem with heater core, either clamps/hoses or the core |

I just had this same thing happen to me, and it turned out to be a leak from the intake manifold gasket. If you pressurize the coolant system you can see the leak quite clearly... Hope this helps, and I hope this is not your problem, because it was a lot of work to fix. |
