OK I HAVE A 95 DISCO,THE THING LEAKS AT THE MANIFOLD AS THE PIPE JOINT,I TOOK IT TO A MUFFLER SHOP,THEY HAD PLENTY OF HOURS IN IT,AND THEN CHARGED ME 300.00 ALL LABOR. I WILL SAY WHEN I LEFT IT SOUNDED QUIET FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS,NOT SOUNDS LIKE A TRACTOR,VERY EMBARASSING,WHAT FO I NEED,TO MAKE THIS THINK QUIET,THANKS DAVID |

Take it back to the "muffler" shop that did the orginal repair and ask them to explain why they didn't fix it right the first time....... |

Check to make sure that the bolts are not loose. When I had the dealership tighten my manifold bolts, they were loose only a few months later. If they are loose and you don't want to deal with the muffler shop, get some locktite and torque them to spec. I would intially take it back though - and have them fix it. |
