Im trying to replace my engine mounts on my 1989 RRC and i cant figure out the best method about doing it. We have all the nuts off on both engine mounts but when we try and raise the engine, the whole truck moves. Im need to find out where the best jack points are and if there is anythign else i need to remove or loosen in order to raise the engine. Please help me fast!! Thanx Ryan Wilcox [email protected] |

It will help if you remove the exhaust from the manifolds (the triangle flange). Put a block of wood at the transmission bellhousing (where it meets the engine) and lift from there. You can then push the engine left or right a little to help with the install. Ron |
