I am the new owner of a '96 D1 SE7 with rear A/C and want to pull the rear jumpseats out and put the factory storage boxes in. The only question is if there was an available combination/model offered with rear A/C and no jumpseats- anyone?
Am I searching for parts in vain?
THANKS!

Right Sergei! That would be one part of the complete assembly required, yes. I'm looking to re-fit the rear compartment as though it never had the jump seats, and I'm not sure if I can with the rear air condition option as installed in my truck.

Bill, you should be able to put one bin in on the right, but you are out of luck on the left side.
There is never a bin on the left if there is rear A/C, whether or not there are jump seats.

Bill I have a 96 SE7 w/rear a/c. I have removed both jump seats and installed the bin on the passenger side. The driver's side, which is where the a/c unit is, simply has the seat removed. I too would like to ditch the rear compressor and add more storage. All you have to do is remove the seat/brackets/seat belts and then get the bin panel. You can usually sell the complete seat assemblies here or ebay.

Surely there has got to be a way to take the rear a/c out of the front a/c's loop and seal off the lines with some blanks.

Bill, what color are your rear seats? If you want to sell them how much you want?

Thanks

Thanks Guys,
Eric, that's my plan, but I'm going to keep the rear A/C functional long term for the dogs.
So it would be correct that there is not a different interior panel (one without the holes for the jumpseat brackets poking through) for the driver's side? I could never tell with Rover what option combinations were actually offered when new- for that matter, I didn't know I could get an SE7 in '96 with a 5-speed, but it's in my driveway, so I thought I'd ask about the panels.
I really appreciate the help,

-Bill

Oops,
the seats are tan leather and in good shape, no tears or wear. James, e-mail me at roushey@msn.com and we'll chat off the board. I hadn't gotten that far, but...

Regards,
Bill

Bill - just email guys at the roversconnection, pacificnorth and Will (he is on this board), and explain them what you need, ask for quote. Most of times someone have what you looking for, you just have to ask :-)

And you can also post in "wanted" section, may be someone parted out disco and got those parts laying about.
