I was underneath the Disco today since I am back in town and was looking for various parts to loosen when I install my OME setup soon. Anyhow, I noticed how old and crappy my front dshaft looked and how there was some play in the cardian. Before the hoseclamp mod was pulled LRK apparently replaced my front shaft with an old one to make sure it was the rear shaft vibrating and must not put my new one back in. They did charge me for some new bolts for the front shaft of course. Well I am gonna deal with all this tomorrow and I hope they dont try and lie about the front shaft.......I know this one was not in there before I took it in. Matt |

The front DC shaft on the DS2 is more prone to corrosion than the rear. On mine, the rear is rust free and looks pretty good. The front looks like a 200 year old balleship. |

This damn story just get's more incredible with each post. Speaking of posts, if this were me I would go postal on them. Does the dealer hand-out cards down at the local Jiffy-Lube and recruit techs that get fired or fail the intensive Jiffy-Lube Technical entrance exam? If you ever go back to this dealer, please post again since we all need some humor.

Another satisfied LR customer of the usual stellar LR dealer service? Best 4x4xfart! Don't you know? The (st)dealership had to slip you a used, beat to hell front drive shaft to offset the money they lost installing those platinum $230 hose clamps on your rear shaft. They were doing you a favor. Shame on you for complaining! |
