ouch - that's bad; do you have 18-gal or 23.5-gal tank?
Do you have catalytic converters on your RRC?
Does your exhaust smell of gasoline?
I'd pull the injectors, or, at least, started with a full can of injector cleaner. Most likely, there is more than one reason - your gas mileage (in U.S. terms) is about 6-6.5 mpg; a reasonably tuned 3.9 should crank out about 12-16.

Check engine light on? Any code on readout under passenger seat? Any running problems?

At that many kms most sensors probably need replacing. You could start with the water temp sensor for the EFI system (not guage). Wrong readings and it could dump more fuel thinking the engine is cold. If you don't want to throw money at it you can test each one with a multimeter.

Aside from EFI sensor failures, perhaps you have something mechanically wrong on the drivetrain. Have you inspected the brakes and bearings? Is one of the wheel hubs hotter than the others?

Check for a fuel leak or for someone stealing gas. If you wheel a lot its possible to have a leak either from the tank or from a fuel line. I'm not sure if there is a lock on the RRC fuel door or not, but I know a friend of mine had trouble with local kids stealing his gas for a go-cart. The tank is so big that you don't notice a gallon missing here or there.

Perhaps approach the problem from a different angle, rather than assume mechanical....

That's only 124,274.2 miles. Somethings gotta be leaking somewhere. Man, I wouldn't drive it. You could be 1 spark away from Rover Toast.

My mileage went to pot when an O2 sensor gave out but I was getting a fault code. This was at 120,000. I replaced both sensors and everything is back to normal, just semi-crappy mileage.

Your profile doesn't say where you are, but I would think O2 sensors or Cats if you have the Cats.

If the RRC 3.9 is the same as 3.9 D1 might want to check the vacumm advance on the distributor. The vacumm line going from the intake to the distributor was cracked on mine. Don't think it would hurt the milage that bad though.

Mine too tree trimmer ...Finally back to semi crappy mpg! Bad 02 sensors can cause major problems as far as mpg go..But if its a RRC 1993 it might not have cats?? As Joey said.
