I took the running boards off of my disco last summer when I scraped them a little at Moab. Also had torn the rubber off of one. Now I want to install them on my Mom's rover for her, but the dealership said that I can't buy just the rubber, i have to buy a new running board, which doesn't seem right to me. Anyone know where to get one? |

Ryan, I have the running boards from my 96 Disco rusting away in my garage. The rubber is in fairly good shape. You are welcome to one or both at the cost of shipping. Not sure the cost from here to Utah. SandMan |

Ryan, You can purchase the rubbers from the dealer. I have been searching around for awhile. They are sold as a kit. I believe the part number should be STC8807 the dealer in Atlanta GA priced them out at 90.97 for both. I would ask again because they should be available. If any one has the mounting brackets available I would like to purchase dealer price is $49.00.

Ryan, Have you looked in to taking the rubber completely off and having them shot with rhino line for about $50.00. Then you/she will never have to worry about scratching them, or cleaning out the cracks packed with mud/dirt. Just a simple spray off with a hose and she's good to go. Just a thought. May not even be $50 |

great idea, Garret! And my neighbor owns a rhino lining place too, so probably pretty cheap. Anyone tried this? Ryan |
