I changed the stock Castrol mineral oil out of my '03 to syn at around 1500 miles. At the 2500 mile service check, they did their free oil change & put the cheap stuff back in!! Thing is, I only noticed this now. when I went to do my own change again at 4000 w/synthetic... So have all my good intentions (frequent changes with synthetic) been a waste??
