Anyone have any guidance on what is the best physical path for the wiring harnesses and switch wires from the battery (soon to be batteries, I suspect) and up to the rack? I've got the diagrams - not that I understand them ;) - but the actual physical path that the harness and switch wires should take, is what i'm looking for. beyond that, if anyone in the atlanta area knows a shop that can do the wiring, would love to hear it. not having any luck calling around. thanks |

Right side (passenger) A-pillar (check out Ho's album @ EE. VERY clean wiring) to get to roof rack. Wires into cabing can be ran through firewall, if you dont mind getting holes in there, (if you go there - patch holes with grommets, overwise water can get in). Other way - you can do nasty wiring (i actually do it, as i dont like holes in firewall at the moment) via inside of fender and then going into cabin via door opening. Relay(s) - to be mounted on insides of engine compartments. Hint - if you do wiring of roof rack - buy cheap trailer harness to use between actual wiring on roof and lights. That way you can later on plug piles of stuff and take lights out easier, if you like to change them |
