OME HD springs and shocks, and Futura enforcer 265/75/16. I was pretty impressed with the OME stuff. Was looking at rancho, but this worked out pretty well.

Dave:

No trimming of the fenders, just the bumper.

What's so funny there John?

John, did you cut the bottom of your bumper off? I did the same lift with 265's as well and just trimmed the bumper. Looks good though.

John is laughing at your mentioning of Rancho shocks. He has a weird hatred for them. However so, I have Rancos on my truck, and they work just fine.

Rancho's are probably the worst shocks ever built, and I don't think that's why John is laughing.

Which version of the springs did you put on the front and rear. You have the exact configuration as mine (same bull/brush bar and tires) and since the picture looks nice I might was well get the same.

Yeah, they are probably laughing because you are wheelin' in your front yard. Seems like every one is lifting them but you don't see on the trails! You put the money in it so take it out and send and seen us some real pics.

That vid is actually a good representation of the benefits of new suspension and tires. I was unable to traverse that obsacle before the mods. That was known as "the hummer spot", cause that was the only vehicle to get through. Thanks to D-Web I went the right direction and am happy with my mods so far. On a limited budget for goodies, I got the most bang for the buck.>JB

John, why couldn't you do that before? I'm guessing it was tires. Did you remove your sway bars? I have the same OME setup and just removed mine but haven't had it offroad yet with them removed.

That spot is pretty steep so my bumper would just hit the incline. Now, the tire grabs and pulls me up. So yea, the tires make a big difference to. It got even steeper after the rain and still no problem. Sway bars gone since install of OME suspension per EE site.>JB
