The heater/ a/c controls are in the way. Do I need to remove these to replace the center fascia? Anyone do this before? |

I looked in the shop manual. Looks like a pain in the ass. Why must you remove the center fascia (louvre panel)? The basic steps appear to be: Remove the radio, remove the radio cage, remove the clock, remove the coin tray, remove the heater controls and blower swith knob, remove screws securing louvre panel. |

Tom, I did al that, but I am having trouble removing the heater control knobs. I dont want to break the knobs and I am afraid to just pull on them. I am removing the fascia because the one I have one there now is cracked and I have a new one to install. Any other ideas? |

OK. Looks like the knobs just pull straight out. Behind them are screws securing the heater graphic display panel. Then the whole control panel can be removed by removing 4 more screws, one in each corner. I'll mail you a pic. |
