I,ve got a can of sea foam and want to addit to my crankcase to clean out any possible sludge. Should I add it before I change the oil or add it in with the new oil, and how long should I run the engine before I drain it out? Sorry for such a dumb question but I've never used this stuff before and the directions on the can don't make it too clear what to do.

No questions are dumb really. I did a search using 'sea foam '. The search fuction of this website is great, but takes trial and error. Well worth the effort. There were alot of returns, this recent post is pretty informative.

Don't leave it in there very long. Add it before you change. Otherwise, all of the gunk that it frees could clog some important things.
