I found this link after a google search: http://www.hitch-web.com/lrover/ There does not seem to be a real link off the main site. I contacted them to see if this is available. I like the mounts, seems like a little better for ground clearance and a good mount for skidplates. Anyone know of a design similar to this? I can not afford a new bumper with integrated hitch yet.

Australian made Trail Boss and Hayman Reece are similar and are resold by both TJM and Arb. I have a Trail Boss on my car, they are rated to 3500kg. The Trailboss factory is not far from me and I just got one from there it was about $240 Australian dollars. |

Wow fast response below (I have no association with these guys) Hello This is a custom hitch for the Land Rover that utilizes the tortional design. The only footnote would be it would not fit if the L/Rover has the optional step on the rear for seat release. We sell this hitch for $275 including freight inside the continental U.S. The hitch would ship within 1-2 business days from the time of your order, from Van Nuys, California. We designed and manufacture this hitch ourselves, the rating is 5000 lbs gross, 500 tongue. the receiver is 2x2. Feel free to call us on Monday at 800-300-4067 and we can help you get one going. I hope to hear from you soon Tony Hart http://www.hitch-web.com |

The Australian Trail Boss allows you to retain the rear step and is rated to 7700 lbs (3500kg). Are you sure you can't get them in the US, they are a bit neater looking. |
