Is the output flange of the BW the same pattern as that on the LT230 (have both at home - just too lazy to look :) )

Seems to me that the are interchageable, but the driveshaft lengths are longer with the BW.

Thanks - I knew the lengths were different, but all I care about is the flanges.

Yes they are identical. The rear DS on Range Rover Classics and Disco 1's are interchangable.

I can add that you can even change the drive flange from BW to LT230 if you wish. (Unless early LT230 are coarse splined on the output shaft; dont know).

Thus you can put the front drive flange from Disco II right onto the BW (if you discard the mudshield-ring). And no need then to buy any adapter rings (if you wished to go for the DiscoII double cardan driveshaft)!!!
