About to buy a 99 Disco or Disco II, but wondering about where to get a warranty online. This will be a daily driver for a year or two, so I want to keep the big stuff covered. Many of the sites I saw did not list Land Rovers!?! Could it be they have a teensy tendency to need work/ leak stuff/ etc... I know what I am getting into there, have several friends with Discos, and series vehicles. TIA |

plenty of companies warranty them. try talking to Hal Moses at Auto Advantage. he is a broker and can set you up i am sure. my warranty is from Buyers Choice. 4years/46K for $1700. covers all the big stuff of course and lots of other goodies. |

I purchased one from www.warrantyvillage.com/sams/ which is part of Sam's Club for my 99 Disco I. It was about 1700 for up to 100k miles with a $200 deductible. I wanted to cover the big stuff. Have not used it yet so I cannot tell you if it is any good. But it sure was a lot cheaper than the others I found and I took some confort that Sam's Club would protect their image. Dwight |
