Out of the list vendors I find the following websites the best for prices, viewing and selection. The winners are Rovers North & Rover Connection. The website I find the hardest to go through is British Pacific even though they are closest to where I live.

Best: Expedition Exchange and Rover Connection, both are very intuitive and have the best pics!
These sites actually have pictures on what your trying to buy!

Good: Trek Outfitter's, DAP and Pangaea Expeditions

Marginal: Discount Rover's, British Pacific and Safari Gard

Worst: Rover's North, Atlantic British, Rover Accesories, Rock Ware, Rovertyme Engineering

Best: Expedition exchange

Good: 4x4 Connection

Fair: Rover's North. Their site content is not very good. But Ed from the store will answer email questions and send pics. He is the reason if I ever buy any thing from them.

best for prices : mansfield motors ,having part #'s is key
best content for goodies: expedition exchange , terrain master
favorite vendors , GBR, Rovertym,MM(have not dealt with EE yet)
worst prices : AB , RN, SG . but the first 2 have very good customer service
site that desperately needs help , or at least one update this century : ..... GBR

BEST: EXPEDITIONEXCHANGE.COM Great pics, full explanation of items for sale & pics of them, being used, updated daily, easy to navigate.

Are we ranking Rover businesses, or the websites for Rover businesses?

I know of some GREAT Rover stores that have okay websites, and some great Rover-store websites that are for businesses that I wouldn't spend a penny at.....

RN and best prices, that just shouldn't go together....

Expedition Exchange. What else?
Rover Connection is good.
Discount Rovers, great prices, not a "storefront" site, though.

Leslie, We are ranking Rover stores where you go online to buy a part.

My personal opinion of the best: Expedition Exchange. The website is fast and direct to the product you are looking for. Indepth directions on the use or installation of their products.

Hmmm.... you mean like, "actually" buy the part online? Fill out a secure e-form, and have the part sent to you?

Hmmm.... I can't think of any site where I've done that.... I either go by the Thatched Roof, or call/email Nathan, and get what I want that way... Nathan's website doesn't work w/ Netscape, so I never visit it.

Websites: I'll use RN/AB/BP, Roverconnection, but I've not bought anything from any of them.

EE, RTE: those are sites that I'd spend money at, once I get A) the next Disco, and B)permission from the wife! :)

FWIW....

I never got the parts and they keep randomly charging my card when ever they feel like it. Everytime they charge my card, I have to call my bank, request forms that I have to fill out and mail in.

Leslie, have you forgotten that you can fill out a secure e-form and get a DiscoWeb video or stickers sent to you? :) :) :)
