Anyone remember the name of the thread that we were putting our lift measurements up on? I found one titled "What are your measurements" but there should be another one out there.. That or there are many posts missing from the archives.. I believe the one that I'm looking for was started by Ron looking for the measurements of different setups that people were running.

I'm lost, are the archives indeed loaded? I still have a goose egg in the "Archives" column and nothing shows when I click on the header. Maybe they're only available if you do a search?

Karen,

Look at the bottom of the sidebar... In that side frame, down below Utilities, at the VERY bottom, is a link to the 2001 Archives. It took me a bit to find it, because I had to scroll that frame up to see it down there.

Ax said that they were corrupting this new BBS setup, so they're an external link, and not within the "new" archives, which will be for future archival purposes.

Nope not in the archives.. I looked through both of them and no luck... You wouldn't happen to have saved any of that info would you? I lost mine from when I first got the lift and I wanted to see if they are still close after a couple of months..

O! I C, Leslie! Thanks for that, I almost never use that side bar and may never have found it!

No, in 2000 we weren't using Discus yet, we were using the same bbs as RN is using. Those messages were not archived. The 2001 archive includes everything posted in the tech and general section last year up to 12/15.
The picture links in the messages don't work, because they are pointing to the path on the old server. I am not going to manually edit 35,000 html files to fix the picture links or add in the messages posted on the old server after 12/15.

Can't blame ya!

Question: Were the photos saved into a directory separate from the messages? What I was wondering was, if it's possible to browse a directory of pics.... realizing that there was no link to anything in particular, just a big assortment of photos....

Just curious....

Yeah, the photos are in the same folders as the message html, so you should be able to point directly to the pics by looking at the link and the url up top.
