my 1995 disco has a yellow "4x4" light actually its 4 tires... can anyone tell me what this is?? Normally I would think it was either the transfer case was in low, which I know it is not (there are only 3 positions on this (???) H - N - L... and secondly it might be that the front diffs are locked but if the diffs where locked i should be feeling a ton of binding when I turn the wheels... Please help me out.. |

I have a 95 disco but no light like that. Actually you have a an "H" pattern on that shifter. If the shifter is to the left side, you have Dif-lock H, N, and L. Push the lever to the right side (while in the center) and you have non-dif-lock H, N and L. |

Light on = Center Diff-Lock Engaged... (push transfer case shift lever to the left) Light off = Center Diff Unlocked (push transfer case shift lever to the right) |
