Brake fluid level

Author Message   Andy Nichols Posted on Monday, June 17, 2002 - 09:39 pm:    At the risk of sounding dumb (I don't have a driver's manual) is it correct that the ABS light comes on if the brake fluid level is low? Mine came on and the level on the reservoir is just at the minimum level. I can't see a leak anywhere obvious, and I'm a couple of hundred miles from home (where my new can of fluid is resting in the garage.....) Thanks
