I went to the Britney Spears concert in Lubbock, Texas a few days ago. She only played 2 songs, due to some technical difficulties, and I couldn't get a good 'front' view. I was stuck with an ass view for the entire 10 minutes she played...damn 
After the show, A couple of people tried to get a riot going, but there were too many little kids there, and they got arrested. They told us to hold on to our ticket stubs for a make-up show in late July. |

nah. they were having a mild night as far as i could tell with my binoculars. haha. actually on our way out we did walk by and things seemed pretty quiet. i was out and about at the Crowbar here in town. still feeling the Jager, Buttery Nipple, Lemondrop, Tequila and whatever else coursing through my veins!! ugh. what the hell was i thinking?
i think i will have to welcome myself to the neighborhood soon enough. maybe i could make them a batch of my special brownies!! 
shit......i just remembered something. as we were walking back to my place at about 2 a.m. about 100 yards from my house there were two girls on benches just along the sidewalk about to pass out. they were pretty funny. i talked to them briefly and then Jen pulled me back in. haha. oh man.......things are coming back to me now. |

oh i know. i have 4 nieces/nephews and 2 more identical twin girls coming by the end of next week. ugh. please.....no one mention the olsen twins now. i have a feeling i will be an old grumpy uncle yelling at those teenage kids. and my good friend Jen has 2 kids of her own. oh my. too many young impressionable kids around.......how will this small town handle so many like kind personalities. especially coming from the garrett porterfield legacy!! |
