I just got my diff lock lever in the mail last week. Yesterday I had the whole front end and right wing ripped off doing bodywork and repairing damage, so I thought I'd install it. Then I remembered I still have 30,000 miles left on my warrenty.
I know I could try to camoflage it, but it probably wouldn't work. I am just trying to figure out if it's worth it.
BTW, that damage was caused when I was wheeling on a wooded trail. I was doing about 10Mph with the branches whisking away at my paintwork, when, BANG! A piece of angle iron bolted to a tree lanced right between my directional indicator and the bumper. The directional indicator lense exploded, and the bracket holding the entire side together was mauled, ripping the aluminum wing and bending the metal it was bolted to. It took all damn day to sort that out, but I had a blast.
For the record, if I ever meet the guy that cut up all those plastic garbage cans to line the wheel wells, I'm going to kick his ass. I found that a kitchen fork was the only thing that would effectively remove all those plastic rivet things.
