Coming to you from the Slickrock Cafe in downtown, Moab, UT are the VA Disco owners... Mark & Kathleen. Did a lot of rock climbing today but not in a 4X4(unfortunately). Did the Arches National Park and drove here from Grand Junction, CO via the scenic route... along the Colorado River. Fabulous vistas and temperatures hovering at the 104F reading. Tomorrow we're headed to Cortez, CO for a few days there..... If I get back to a Cyber Cafe like this one I'll give you an update. We're keeping an eye on the forest fire related road closings and detours. Later.... Mark & Kathleen |

Sorry, I forgot to bring the memory stick cassette adapter for my digital camera.... We did drive up the Hurrah Pass road SW of Moab and got very near to Dead Horse Point ( below it in the canyon) before turning back. We're, at this moment, in the Vermillion Cafe in downtown Kanab, UT and tomorrow we're driving to Holbrook, AZ where we've been told we'll need dust masks because of the smoke and ash from the "big" fire about 40 miles farther south.... I'll try to get some pics to Ho after we get back to VA. Mark |

We're back in VA after 2 weeks on CO, UT, AZ, and NM. Stopped at Colorado Springs(CO) Land Rover yesterday and bought a few items. Anyone know who belongs to the "PEAK XV" license-plated Disco that was parked at the LR dealership on Motor City Drive ? Mark |
