Pretty snappy property for sale there, but I know nothing about the area except the little I've read online. Seems they have a popular golf course, which this property ajoins. Anyone? Karen |

If it is the Johnsonville I am thinking of, it is out in the middle of nowhere. The closest place is Lake City (Which, oddly enough has no lake...NOR is it a City!) You might be able to work your way up to "Queen of the Trailer Park" I guess it all depends on what you like to do. If you don't mind sitting around all day, drinking sweet tea and counting your neighbors' teeth (which shouldn't take too long) then it may be the place for you. On a lighter note...it IS about an hour or so from here (Myrtle Beach) if you wanted to get away from all of the tobbacco farmers for a while and visit the Redneck Riviera |

LOL, Greg, that's the place! Middle o' Nowhere is part of the point, though I suspect they're going to need an out of towner to pay the freight at the price they want. Though I WAS raised on a turnip truck, I didn't fall off it yesterday, to mix a coupla metaphors (G). Looks like a nice property though. Thanks for the info. If anyone else is familiar with the area, do tell. Karen |
