Has anybody had any luck with converting their old R12 AC system to enviro friendly R134a or FR12 or any other and if so how and how much, any pros and cons? My AC blows semi-cold air and I don't feel like spending alot of money to recharge it with R12 and I am thinking about converting it and maybe it will work better. As always, thanks for any comments and info |

My understanding is all you have to do is change the seals and filter Dryer also the filler ports. I have also heard a new compressor and condenser is required? Good Luck.. |
