Glenn, I think they were called "Ducks". Used by the Army as amphibious vehicles and landing craft(?). Funny you should mention RTI. My first thought was "Man, I'd like to see THAT thing flex!". hehe |

I don't know what it is, but it isn't a 'duck', it's waaaay to big for one of those. This is a duck in civilian use:

I not sure that it is used for active duty anymore. I went to check on the boat for the 4th(ie: batteries charge, gas, oil) around lunch. As I zoomed past the ship yard oh sh*t! I had to stop and get the pic's. This thing was huge like two and half times the size of those duck's. I know that a USMC reserve has a small traning unit just down the road. The ship yard may be doing some type of repair or something. It had Army makings with a huge drop gate at one end and props at the other. |

Anyone able to get the specs on those tires? I wonder if the raised white letters are on the inside? Just some silly humor 94Rover |

They are firestone. That could be why it's not used as active service do to high speed blow out & roll ..issue firestone had..ok maybe not. |

It would be safe to say that it does not have the remote third row fold down on this baby. |
