Great day, Crhis von C got me my roof rack that I have been dreaming about. Now the problem is how do you ship such a large item. Has anyone done this and what is the cheapest way. thanks everyone |

I think I've read on here where someone actually used a Greyhound bus to send it cross country for a very reasonable price. Just no door-to-door delivery. |

I doubt if it will fit greyhound though. Greyhound is indeed cheaper, something like 30-50 dollars, but they can only carry what they can fit under the buses. I guess take measurements and call Greyhound. If they can fit it, it's definitely the way to go. Goodluck! -glenn |

James, Call your local Grey Hound they do deliver if it can be man handled and fit in the compartment bays. Also there are many freight companies that deliver to regional areas cheeper if you pick up at the center, Motor Freight is one of them look in the yellow pages. Also Airborne Express delivers the ARB racks from Seattle. Go online to www.UPS.com and give them the dimensions it will be classes as over sized. The shipping is around 120 to 150 |
