I hope that's not the guy to take it out here to Seattle. I'll be needing to replace the springs on just one side.

I promise to take it out and get it dirty soon after it gets here Rob. When I got my brand new Jeep GC back many years ago, it only took me a week before I had it up on 3 wheels on a trail. But then again, it was a jeep.

Thanks to Discoweb for helping find it a new home and to Rob for all his help selling.

Perrone's name and his club is mentioned in the current issue of LRE-, or maybe it's LRW-, or LRM hell, I can't remember which one, and I'm not about to go to my bathroom and thumb through all of the LRE's, LRW's, LROI's, and LRM's to find out.

Anyway, John what was the point behind that remark?

John think's Perrone looks like Gary Coleman obviously.

i happen to think John looks like/reminds me of Vern Yip from trading spaces on the learning channel, if any of you watch that.

I'll take a picture of it when it gets here with my wife driving and a child seat in the back. Will that make everyone feel better?

I (state your name) heredo promise forthwith to not unneedingly bash the crap out of said Rover and scar anyone's loving memories of said Rover.
I also promise to not sally the thing around on pavement for the rest of its days. Somewhere inbetween.

I further promise to not pull Katka out if he laughs at me the first time I get it stuck. Truth be know; Jeremy's a putrid off yellow green with envy color that I'm picking up such a nicely setup truck.

Peter is a good guy... Only person I know who could bend up a rover in the first week of owning it. :)

Yes I am jelous. I said so when Rob originally posted he was selling such a rig. Now to get mine built up.

well, you boys are already driving it in your minds, i am still here, a nervous wreck that something is going to happen to my baby on the way out.

my RR seems to be okay, there is just no room. i have a pile of stuff that i took out of the disco that wont even fit in the RR. i need a rack bad.

trying to get the lovely mildo smell out of the RR let in by the leaky rear liftgate :)

You can rest assured. Peter will look after his new purchase, just like his previous SUV. The Disco replaces his old toyota. Here is a pic about 3 weeks after he bought the toyota.

Peters previous SUV

Not true Matt. The first "outing" I had in my last vehicle ended like this:

front
light
rod

Bent the cross rod and demolished the turn signal. Also pinched the hood release cable enough that I had to bend the latch holding plate a little and take a screwdriver to it to get the hood open.
Luckly, there was little damage and it now looks like this:

good as new

Notice the new grill guard that needs to go on in the background.

BTW, the Range Rover is for sale, but since I'm selling it in Seattle, I'm sure ya'll would think I'm asking too much. :-)

And Rob, since you are looking for a rack, Yakima's Mega Warrior with extension works well on a RR.

LOL, I wasn't so far of. You will have to take it a lot easier when the new disco goes out on its first trail.
