Well,
I was just relieved from Op. Clenched Fist. I am going over to Europe to support Op. Enduring Freedom. It should be for about a year or so, hopefully less.
It looks like things are boiling in the world, North Korea/South Korea military actions, and our increasing interest in Iraq looks to forcast the future of our international involvement. Cool since my name is second on the list to go there .
But now to the important stuff...
The ultimate rack's mounting system has been finalized mathematically. I haven't got time to do it out in cad right now, but when I get back I will get on it. This deployment will give me an oppertunity to ponder it's construction carefully, and to work out all the niggles before I build it.
I forsee the ultimate rack kicking major ass in a big way. I WILL complete this project, I owe it to myself and you guys. When you see what I've designed, I hope you will agree it was worth the wait.

Cutting in from an overseas spot here,
That's not opsec, it's freely available info. Actually there was a big media fuss about the whole business, but I guess you gotta roll with the punches. I'll never figure out why they wanted everyone to know where we were going. Publicity is great but that's pushing it. My mom called the other day with "hey they said on CNN that you're unit was...". I hate that.
