On behalf of a 38A-friend:
Anyone found a differential guard for a new look Range Rover? Disco2-type does not fit.

Nope - if you find one let me know. Axle is flipped from the DII, as you found out!

Land Rover made a Diff gaurd for the p38A(well they put their name on it)-

Call your local dealer and ask the parts person to look at the kit catalouge from Land Rover 98 model year....The diff gaurd was featured with the winch kit for the P38A Range Rover- I believe it was rather costly like all Land Rover kit items.

Pugsly-

It's my job.....

It's your dealer's job too. I'm always shocked at the lack of organization in other Rover Parts departments.

I usually don't like to use Dweb as a sales tool, but if you like, I can arrange an order for you. If it's easier for you, (and if you want to give them your business still) just give those numbers to your dealer, and say....... Don't ask, just order me this stuff.....dang blammit....
