I want to rip out the EAS on a '95RR LWB and do the coil replacement. I have some stock D1 shocks and springs laying around and was if I could use them. Anybody have any ideas? My guess is 'no' considering it's a heavier vehicle.

And before someone tells me to replace the EAS with some OME's or RTE's - this is going into my loved ones rover and she said there is no way in hell that I'm going to jack up and have it look like a 'red-neck vehicle' like my D1.

Thanks,
Bri

Wives. Mine says the same thing about her '95 LWB. Everything I add to it has to go before a review board and be approved.

I was wondering if the Pre-air suspension Bilstein shocks would also fit the '95 LWB. I have some across some used Bilsteins that a friend will give me. I plan on doing the same spring conversion to ours this winter. I know there are plenty of kits out there, but there are even more and cheaper used Disco springs.

I did the exact conversion on my 95 SWB. I used Disco shock towers and bought new retainer rings, spring retainer straps and spring mounts. I used the regular Disco Bilstein shocks and springs - and it rides well. I removed the rear sway bar and it still corners well, too. It's a bit stiffer over bumps than my wife's Disco 1 LE, but only marginally.

Andy: Thanks for the info. Did you do the job yourself? Was it a total pain in the backside? And if you have any hot installation tips - I'd love to hear them.

Thanks again,
Bri
