Got my 2002 Tread Lightly stuff in the mail finally.
Is it me or does it seem ironic that the Hummer is the vehicle used in their "4Wheeling with minimal impact" brochure.
It's been a while since I've seen a wheeled vehicle tear up a trail as quickly as a Hummer. Tread Lightly is not a term I think of when I see one taking an obstacle.... |

Shit Jeff, if we all truly want to tread lightly, we need to trade the 4WD's in on hovercraft. Any 4,000+lb, knobby tired, self-propelled vehicle ain't treading lightly anywhere. I always thought that the Tread Lightly movement should have been more appropriately called "Stay On The Damn Trails You Idiots". Using the ultimate poseur Hummer as the poster child is a perfect case in point. |
