I have a 99 Disco II that the lease ends next month. I'm concidering buying it but want to know if the buyout price is negotiable. Mine is around $26500. I'm hoping to get it down to say $23K or less. I'm in N.VA area. Does Land Rover have an extended warranty program? My truck has been relatively bullet proof so far. My Diso II had the Java Black with sandstone leather, ACE package with 18" wheels, dual sunroofs, high end stereo with dual subs. No third row seats. It has 27K miles and is in mint condition. Never been off road other than OBX beach once. Any suggestions would be great. |

Who's your financing through? Land Rover Financial Services (now BMW Financial Serv) wouldn't budge on my over-inflated lease buyout price. My local dealer, however, got a very good buyout price from BMW Financial and then the dealer offered the truck to me. Too bad the dealer's financing options are horrid - so horrid that dealing direct with BMW and their inflated buyout is economically advantageous relative to the dealer. -Blue, still haven't signed on the dotted line.... |

My finacing is through Land Rover Financial. Did you have to turn your truck in before the dealer offered it back at a discounted price? |

No, you can run all the numbers before your lease ends, and even after the lease ends. Land Rover Fi doesn't want your truck back - as long as they know you're exploring options to buy, they don't care where the truck is. |
