I came across this article in a Spanish 4x4 mag. Could this be a hint to the new NAS Defender?

I thought the Santana was still on the 109 frame I just got intrested in them reading some old LRW mags. looks like they just stuck a new front on a 110 to me though.

So I found out something about this truck in the July LROI p18. "Santana's budget off-roader, the leaf-sprung 109-inch Anibal, was unveiled at the Madrid Motor Show and will be on sale in Spain. It retains the proven Santana Series IV LT85 gearbox, with a 2.8-litre 4WD Iveco turbo diesel under the bonnet. Prices start at about 13,000." (pounds)

mustache,
The truck is basicly a 109". I think that Santana did knock down LR's and never moved beyond the 109" chassis to the 110. Then started independently building their trucks. Seem like a good idea being that they keep on building simple cheap time proven trucks. You could probly buy a 109" chassis and build up something similar cheaper then trying to import one.
